AYURVEDA - origin of life, desire for children

Fertile Tissue

According to Ayurvedic understanding, there are seven tissues that are constantly renewed and build on each other through a functioning metabolism. The fertility tissue is the "highest of feelings" - the hardest to reach. In the following blog article you will learn more about the Ayurveda approach and procedure in the event of a desire to have children.

View in Ayurveda

From an Ayurvedic point of view, the sperm is the most concentrated substrate of Ojas - the life force. The female egg consists mainly of Rasa-Dhatu (plasma tissue) that is formed from food.

From the female side, the metabolism - the digestive fire, nutrition and the associated development of Rasa-Dhatu - and the way of life are decisive for fertility. In the case of indigestible food or little digestive fire, metabolic waste products (Ama) develop, which worsen the quality of the mucous membranes (uterine mucosa) and the egg cell. Ama is cold, sticky, mucous and blocking and could prevent fertilization or cause various complications in pregnancy. According to the Ayurvedic scriptures, the emergence and good development of an embryo depends on 6 points. Three of them have to do with the mother. 1) The mother, 2) the father, 3) the divine soul, 4) the health of the mother, 5) the plasma tissue of the mother (nutrient fluid of the embryo), 6) the spirit of the child.

Fertility

First of all, we would like to introduce you to a medicinal plant that has a positive effect on the female organism. This is the Indian asparagus plant Shatavari. This plant cleans and renews the mucous membranes of the reproductive organs. In addition, the wild asparagus is an aphrodisiac. It is THE lady's herb in Ayurveda. It is used for hormonal problems, menopausal symptoms and also after pregnancy to build up the uterus. In Ayurvedic writings it can be read that Shatavari can even be used to regenerate previous injuries in the area of the reproductive organs. In addition, a hormone-stimulating effect or compensation of hormonal disorders is written. Bio Shatavari can be taken as a capsule.

But there is also something to support male fertility: The sleeping berry Ashwagandha can be taken as an organic Ashwagandha capsule. It is a proven aphrodisiac. If you smoke, this vice should be dropped as soon as possible, as it reduces fertility.

A balanced diet that suits your constitution and condition will do you good. You may even have the time and desire to experience a Panchakarma cure together. This will help you to come into your own. In terms of nutrition, you should avoid sea fish, seafood and sea salt when planning a family. You should avoid foods that have an irritating or irritating effect on the mucous membranes (chili, radish, blue cheese or fruit juices/mixed juices).

All Ayurvedic dietary supplements are taken for months and unfold their full effect over a long period of time and only in combination with a balanced diet. In order for life to develop, appropriate reproductive tissue must develop on both the female and male side. For that, the metabolic process has to work really well in both of them, because the reproductive tissue is the last in the chain of tissues that build on each other - arise apart. The prerequisite for a very good metabolism is the involvement of the digestive fire Agni. Only with good Agni arise Dhatus - tissues of the body.

In addition to nutrition, the psychological component is always important. It is important for both men and women to prepare themselves mentally for pregnancy. Pressure and stress not only reduces the libido but also sends the body a clear signal that there is currently no time to take care of a little being. It can also help to celebrate the act and incorporate some rituals. Harmonious coexistence is also a basic requirement.
