Bladder infections in women & MEN AND THEIR CAUSES

Bladder infections are i.d.R. Cesarean sections are caused by bacteria or (less commonly) fungi originating from the body's own intestinal or vaginal flora, which enter the urethra and thus travel to the bladder. Because this route is significantly shorter in women due to anatomical reasons, women suffer from cystitis more often than men.

Over 50% of all women are affected by a bladder infection (cystitis) at least once in their lives. V.a. Does it affect young people (14-24 years) and older people (>(= 65 years) Women.Bladder infections are significantly less common in men – and when they do occur, they are v.a. older men (>Affected (ages 60 and older).

However, the bacteria manage to i.d.R. Bacteria can only colonize the mucous membranes of the urethra and bladder when the immune system is weakened. The immune response to the bacteria leads to swelling and inflammation of the bladder wall, causing the typical symptoms. The more severe the inflammation, the more vulnerable the bladder lining becomes and the higher the likelihood of bleeding.

What shaped us

The story behind Qidosha

My husband became seriously ill in 2014. Conventional doctors were baffled by the cause, as none of the known risk factors applied. This experience led us to delve deeply into the millennia-old wisdom of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) – not as a counterpoint to conventional medicine, but as a valuable complement. It became increasingly clear that the problem today is rarely a lack of information, but rather a lack of understanding of what actually happens in the body. Too many approaches, too many opinions – but often too little guidance and too little trust in the body's ability to regain its balance. We have deepened this knowledge over many years together with practitioners. This led to the creation of QIDOSHA: the fusion of traditional healing wisdom, modern science, and the understanding of how to specifically support the body in finding its regulation and balance again – instead of merely compensating for symptoms in the short term. With QIDOSHA, we therefore don't simply want to sell supplements, but rather spark curiosity about the fascinating connections between the body, balance, and millennia-old wisdom.
