Chromium is an essential trace element that the human body only needs in very small amounts. Its physiological importance is nevertheless remarkable: Chromium contributes to maintaining normal blood sugar levels and to the normal metabolism of macronutrients – that is, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.

In dietary supplements, chromium is often used as an isolated compound such as chromium(III) chloride or chromium picolinate. Our approach is different: The chromium comes exclusively from the leaves of Moringa (Moringa oleifera) From controlled organic farming. An isolated chromium compound is not added as a source of chromium.

Moringa leaves naturally contain chromium, but only in small amounts that vary depending on cultivation and soil. Therefore, we don't use ordinary moringa powder, but a concentrated form. 30:1 leaf extract, Chromium is concentrated as a target parameter during its production. The finished plant extract contains 0.1% chromium.

This can be directly extrapolated to the capsule: 200 mg of Moringa extract provides 200 µg of chromium.. Each capsule thus achieves 500% of the legal reference value for daily intake – entirely from a plant-based organic raw material.

The formula itself is also exceptionally simple: organic moringa leaf extract and a vegan capsule shell – nothing more. We completely avoid fillers, magnesium stearate, and conventional flow agents. The capsules are manufactured in Germany and packaged in light-protective amber glass.

Two health claims are approved for chromium, which are directly related to its role in nutrient metabolism:

Macronutrients refer to the three major energy-providing nutrient groups: Carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Chromium is therefore one of the trace elements whose physiological function is closely linked to the processing of the nutrients ingested daily.

Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is a tree originally native to South Asia, whose leaves are traditionally used as food. They naturally possess a complex spectrum of minerals and other plant components – including traces of chromium.

However, the natural chromium content of the plant can vary depending on the soil, location and growing conditions.Therefore, simply encapsulating dried moringa leaves is not sufficient for a dietary supplement.

Our organic moringa becomes a 30:1 leaf extract processed and the chromium content specifically reduced 0.1% The process is discontinued. The original plant-based raw material is thus transformed into a concentrated and clearly defined source of chromium.

This is precisely the difference to a classic mineral capsule: The declared 200 µg of chromium come entirely from the Moringa extract. – not from added chromium picolinate, chromium chloride or any other isolated chromium compound.

The finished product is independently tested for chromium content, purity and possible residues.
